ELMER BIGELOW, 75.(CAPITAL REGION)

SCHENECTADY Elmer ``Peanut'' Bigelow, 75, of Bluff Avenue died Tuesday in the Hallmark Nursing Home Center in Rotterdam after a brief illness.

Mr. Bigelow was born in Ferrisburg, Vt., and educated in Addison, Vt. He moved to Schenectady 30 years ago.

He was employed as a lineman by Frank Tucker Inc. in Rutland, Vt., for 20 years.

Mr. Bigelow was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the infantry. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 357.

He was the widower of Lucille Brileya Bigelow.
