Crick: Aust wins toss and pleases the crowd

DARWIN, Aug 6 AAP - Darwin cricket fans got their wish when Australia won the tossand chose to bat first in the third and final one-day international against Bangladeshtoday.

The decision was greeted with cheers from the Marrara Oval crowd, excited at the prospectof seeing a full 50 over onslaught from the champion Australian batting line-up.

Bangladesh batted first in the first two matches in Cairns - sent in the first timeand winning the toss the second time - and their low scores meant the crowd saw only abbreviatedAustralian innings required to knock off the winning runs.

Australia has already wrapped up the series, winning by eight wickets and nine wicketsin the first two matches.

Australian paceman Brett Lee has been given a rest, appointed to 12th man while batsmanDarren Lehmann was also omitted from the side.

Jason Gillespie returns to the side after missing the second match in Cairns and isjoined by fellow paceman Brad Williams who gets his first start of the series.
